Rolex Daytona 16523 Zenith ‘Inverted 6’

This treat for the eyes is a pre-owned Rolex Daytona 16523 Zenith movement

 

It features a 40mm 18K Gold & Steel Case with a Champagne dial and Black sub-dial surrounds on 18K Gold & Steel bracelet.

The dial on tis watch is special because it has the inverted 6 dial. If you look closely and the sundial at 6 o’clock, you will see an inverted 6 which now looks like a nine. This was an error made by Rolex which was then corrected later, hence why there are only so few of these dials that came off the production line which make this dial a rarer find.

 

This watch went into Rolex for full service in 2013 at a large cost. The watch as you can see in the photos is in mint condition for its age, if you look at the bezel you will see that the black numbering is still present all the way round the bezel.
